Oplosbaar in olie en andere organische oplosmiddelen; verspreid in water; goede emulgerende eigenschappen; als W/O-emulgator in de algemene industrie; over het algemeen gebruikt als industrieel reinigingsmiddel voor textiel, metaal, zeepkokende PAN-middelen, kationisch kleuregaliseermiddel; gebruikt als antistatisch middel op transportbanden voor kunststofproducten.
