Ethyleengycol monoethylether serie , een soort oplosmiddel voor de elektronische industrie met uitstekende prestaties, wordt veel gebruikt LCD-fotoresistentie-verdunningsmiddel bij de productie van LCD- en optische resist, fotoresist-verwijderaar, stripmiddel, wasmiddel voor IC, fotoresist-verwijderende bufferoplossing, corrosieve verwerking en andere chemicaliën die speciale specificaties vereisen; ook op grote schaal toegepast als oplosmiddel voor de productie van elektronisch materiaal.
