New developing Bonding agents as HTPB, EHTPB, ATBN, HTBN, CTBN...

2024-05-29

Our factory new developed the bonding agents, like HTPB, EHTPB, ATBN, HTBN, CTBN, etc...

For HTPB as the good diaphaneity, low viscosity, ageing resistance, low temperature performance, Hydrolysis resistance, acid and alkali resistance, wear resistance and excellent electrical insulation properties and processing performance is good. HTPB can be used in Adhesive, Sealents, Coatings, propellants(HTPB+AP+Al), and so on many kinds of usage.

For EHTPB, EHTPB is HTPB molecular chain that introduces epoxy groups, which has advantages such as oil resistance, aging resistance, good transparency, and good low-temperature performance. The hydroxyl groups at the end of the molecular chain and the hydroxyl groups in the molecular chain The epoxy group is a reactive group that can be cured with various isocyanates and epoxy curing agents The cured polymer has good physical and chemical properties, excellent adhesion strength to various non-metallic materials such as metals and glass, good dielectric properties, low shrinkage rate, and hardness High degree, stable to alkali and most volumes, can significantly improve the mechanical properties, adhesive strength, and heat resistance of polyurethane materials.

The EHTPB can be used for adhesives, sealants, coatings, epoxy resin toughening, polyurethane elastomers, etc.

For ATBN, ATBN is a liquid nitrile rubber with amino functional groups at both ends of the molecular chain, which can be cured with isocyanate curing agents or react with epoxy groups for curing. ATBN has good oil resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance and strong adhesion. It can reduce the gel temperature and curing temperature of epoxy resin when toughening epoxy resin.

The ATBN mainly used as a toughening agent for epoxy resin, it can enhance the toughness of composite materials, improve shear strength and peel strength, and can also be used as a separate adhesive and sealant.

For HTBN, HTBN is a liquid nitrile rubber with hydroxyl functional groups at both ends of the molecular chain, which has the same physical and chemical properties as nitrile rubber and can be cured with isocyanate curing agents, It has good reactivity and processing performance. HTBN has as good oil resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance, and strong adhesive strength.

The HTBN mainly used as a toughening agent for adhesives, coatings, and resins, it can enhance the toughness, adhesion, durability, oil and heat resistance of composite materials.

For CTBN, The liquid carboxyl-terminated butadiene acrylonitrile is one type of liquid rubber which has carboxyl group as it’s function group, and it’s code is CTBN, can be used generally in aviation and civil industrial areas. Normally CTBN is applied combined with somatotype resin. The CTBN which has active carboxyl-terminated group can react on epoxy resin so as to enhance the toughness.

it can alternate Hypro 1300x13 CTBN by Hunstman.

with the performance as:

1. Enhances the toughness and flexibility of thermoset resins

2. Improves adhesion to substrates that are difficult to bond to

3. Increases impact and crack resistance

4. Improves durability (fatigue resistance)

5. Increases low-temperature mechanical properties

6. FDA version available
