Product Description

Anhydrous Borax is also called sodium tetraborate, alpha orthorhombic crystal melting point 742.5℃,

Density 2.28g/cm3, β orthorhombic crystal melting point 664℃. Density 2.75, appearance is white crystal
or colorless glass-like crystal, strong hygroscopicity, soluble in water, Glycerin slowly dissolves in methanol to form a solution with a concentration of 13-16%. Its aqueous solution is weakly alkaline and insoluble in alcohol.
Anhydrous Borax is an anhydrous substance obtained when borax is heated to 350 ~ 400℃, When placed in the air, It can absorb moisture and become borax decahydtate or borax pentahydrate.
 
NOTE: Borax is stable crystal under normal storage conditions and will not react chemically, but if it gets
wet, it will release a trace of heat with water to produce borax decahydrate, so it needs to be stored properly and not exposed to humidity or temperature, in a changing environment, otherwise it will agglomerate. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure good packaging.
