White solid or white crystal. The density of 3.46. Melting point 586℃, 300℃ begins to sublimate. 600 ℃ evaporation. Very soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and ether. Strong moisture absorption in air.
Application: Used as spectral pure and high pure reagent, dilute aqueous solution of indium trichloride sprayed on grass feed as wool growth promoter.
