The product is pale yellow to reddish brown liquid generally , with clove-like aroma, spicy taste, and numbness and distension feeling; become brown gradient and thickened after exposed in the air or
stored for a long time. This product is soluble in ethanol, ether, or glacial acetic acid, which is almost insoluble in water.
